The Charging Panthers are Held Back By the Texans

The Paschal Panthers traveled to Sam Houston HS last Friday night to play their first 6A District game.

What Happened:

The Paschal Panthers lost to Sam Houston 35-22 falling to 1-4 on the season. Both teams struggled in the 1^st quarter to score any points, but Sam Houston claimed the lead going into half with a 14 point lead. Paschal outscored the Texans in the second half but came up short in the end.

Key Moment:

The turning point of the game for the Panthers was Mitchell Nowell’s touchdown on 4^th down and 20. This play put points on the board and turned the momentum in Paschal’s favor.

Up Next:

Next week Paschal plays the undefeated Arlington Colts.
