Coachella is an annual music festival, usually hosted in April, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The festival is known for its diverse lineup of great artists, high-production performances, large-scale art installations, and massive cultural influence.
Due to the rise of social media and celebrity/influencer appearances in the past decade, Coachella has increased in popularity, becoming a trend-setting hub. The increasing celebrity/influencer attendance is a notable contributing factor that has amplified the Coachella experience, establishing a platform that enables attendees to express their fashion sense.
The festival is the perfect opportunity for growing artists to reach larger audiences, and in return, listeners are able to expand their musical tastes. Previous lineups have highlighted smaller artists, who have since emerged, such as Tyla, Olivia Dean, and Chapelle Roan, in addition to legendary headliners like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, Paul McCartney, AC/DC, No Doubt, and many more.
This year’s Coachella dates are April 10-12 and April 17-19. The lineup features a variety of artists, ranging from bigger artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Sombr, and Karol G to smaller, growing artists like Royel Otis, French Police, and ZULAN. We have yet to see what celebrities/influencers will attend and what fashion statements will be made!
