In a quiet corner of Fort Worth, a small neighborhood coffee shop is drawing in locals with handmade drinks and a creative spirit. Ivy’s Coffee, located at 2726 Lipscomb St Suite 101, has quickly become a low-key community spot where customers come for both unique seasonal drinks and carefully crafted coffee.
Owner, Collin Brister, says the shop’s location plays a big role in shaping the atmosphere. “The business is in the neighborhood; it’s pretty nice and low-key,” he explained, describing the calm environment that regulars have come to appreciate.
Recently, Ivy’s Coffee introduced Valentine’s-themed drinks that have been a hit with customers. “I got some fun Valentine’s speedy drinks that everyone’s been really digging,” the owner said.
The drinks feature flavors like strawberry and salted caramel, adding a festive twist to the menu.
Running a coffee shop, however, means balancing creativity with the realities of business. When asked how they manage both sides, the owner emphasized keeping the shop connected to the community while continuing to experiment with new ideas.

Opening the shop came with its challenges, especially financially. “Probably just finances,” he said, noting that he had previous experience owning a coffee shop before launching Ivy’s Coffee.
The shop’s name also carries personal meaning. “The inspiration for the name was for my love of plants,” the owner said. “It’s a coincidence that it’s
the same name as my current girlfriend.” his current girlfriend is former Paschal teacher and coach, Ivy Beasley.
While the menu features a variety of specialty drinks, the Brister takes the most pride in something simple. “I’m pretty proud of the fact that I roast my own coffee, so my proudest drink is a regular espresso,” he said.

Many of the ingredients are made in-house as well. “I make all my syrups from scratch,” said Brister, adding that Ivy’s salted honey carame lsyrup has even been sold separately to customers who want to take the flavor home.
With its handcrafted approach and neighborhood feel, Ivy’s Coffee continues to grow as a local favorite for both classic coffee lovers and those looking for something sweet and seasonal.
