The amped up energy the girls brought onto the court helped to fuel their game. The additional energy projected from the student section is also a huge contributing factor to the atmosphere on game nights. A full student section is a way to ensure a good time for everyone, players and crowd included.
It’s personal – more than a game won
This game was also a big achievement, of personal wins, for a few of the individual players who came close to previously achieved goals or exceeded their new career goals. Our defense and front row were on fire! The sets were competitive, fueled by explosive rallies in which the Lady Panthers were able to take the win. The night is definitely one to be remembered.
The players are using their personal achievements, opportunities, and improvements as momentum in practice to stay warm and ready in order to keep bringing home big wins.
What does this mean for the rest of the season?
Going undefeated in district is definitely in the cards this season. As of now, Paschal is ranked 1st place in district with a win-to-loss ratio of 5-0. The chances are only increasing.
Up next…
This week, the Lady Panthers won against O.D. Wyatt for their Tuesday match and will host North Side at the Gus for their Friday match. Can we count on our PHS student body to show up and show out for the players as they keep the season going strong?
As always, big thanks to all who came out to support! Please continue supporting your Lady Panthers & PROTECT THE GUS!
