On the subject of new policies in Fort Worth ISD, another rule has made its way to Paschal High School: Photo IDs.
Required by the district, all students must wear photo IDs around their necks. Noted on the ID is the Fort Worth ISD theme, rather than the previous years’ Paschal theme.

Although they aren’t considered the most fashionable accessories, there are always fun ways to add a touch of style to your ID and lanyards.
- Pins
Pins are a great way to add a bit of personality to your lanyard. It could be pinned to your lanyard along the neck, attached to the cloth. They can be a great conversation starter as well. Make a new friend, attach a pin.
- Stickers
Although the district forbids stickers covering up any identifying information (naturally), you can still add smaller stickers to the empty space on the ID. Similar to pins, they can be a great conversation starter. Go crazy with it, have fun.
- Knots/Braids
This trick plays with the actual shape and form of the lanyard. There is a little clasp at the back of the lanyard that detaches both sides from each other. Using this feature, you’re able to make different designs on the lanyard itself.
These modifications and customizations can help you add a fun spark of personality to your ID.
You, the student, are likely not happy about the ID policy, but think of it as a new, fun accessory to your outfit. Another way to add personality to your daily accessories, rather than a necessary evil for the safety of students.
Show off those IDs proudly, have fun with them!
