As the holidays are approaching, you may see many people drafting their Christmas wish lists, which may lead to you wondering what you would like to unwrap on Christmas. It can be helpful to see what others are asking for to get a basic idea of what you may like. Here are a few gift ideas gathered from social media that appeared more than once, in case you haven’t had time!
In 2024, fashion and clothes have become more relevant than years before, leading into 2025 it can be fun and refreshing to have new clothes that will carry you into a fresh start. Clothes are a gift that can never be disappointed to unwrap or receive, they benefit you and you can find anything to fit your style! Asking for basics is popular because you can accessorize and dress them up or down however you want.
- Clothes
- Basic tops (Hollister, Pacsun, Edikted, Urban, Free People)
- Jeans, Sweatpants, Pants (Pacsun, Brandy, Garage, Aritzia)
- Skirts or shorts (Pacsun, Levis, Lululemon, Free People, Alo)
- Graphic tees or sweatshirts (Abercrombie, Hollister, Urban, Pacsun)
- Pajamas (Brandy, Old Navy, Victoria Secret,)
Along with clothes, shoes are something that can make an outfit come together or pop. I think growing your shoe collection is so fun and leaves you with an endless amount of options, whether you want to dress up, be comfy, or be active, shoes can do any of that!
- Shoes
- Uggs (Ultra mini, Tasman, Platform)
- Birkenstock (Boston clogs, Sandals)
- New balance
- Adidas
- Hoka, Oncloud
- Nike
As mentioned above, accessories are the key to every outfit, and it can be fun to build a collection of jewelry, hair pieces, or really any aspect that could add color or uniqueness to a basic outfit.
- Accessories
- Rings, Necklaces, Bracelets (Evry Jewels, Kendra Scott, Enewton, Amazon, En Route Jewelry)
- Bows, Claw Clips, Headbands, Barrettes (Emi Jay, Kitsch, Ulta, Teleties)
- Totes, Wallets, Bags, Crossbodies (Baggu, Amazon, Zara)
Makeup and hair tools became very popular on TikTok in 2023/24 due to beauty influencers and celebrities launching their own brands. That is unlikely to change in 2025. Now, there is an overwhelming amount of makeup and beauty supplies, and receiving makeup or beauty stuff is something I find many people to enjoy.
- Makeup/Beauty
- Blush, Bronzer, Mascara, Lip (Rhode, Rare beauty, Glossier, Sephora, Ulta)
- Hair tools (Dyson, Shark, Ulta, Sephora, Amazon)
- Brushes, Beauty blenders, powder puff (Sephora, Ecotools, Target)
- Perfume/ Body mist (Sol de janiero, Target, Ulta)
While I enjoy getting clothes or makeup, I find it fun to open miscellaneous items or other random accessories that will make your life more convenient or cozier. I think these following ideas are great to ask for if you don’t want to buy them for yourself later on, or are looking for more “unique” ideas aside from clothes or basics.
- Miscellaneous/Fun
- Blankets/New bedding (Minky Couture, Amazon, Pottery Barn)
- Room decor: Frames, Posters, Vases (Society 6, Target, Etsy)
- Makeup Bags (Glossier, Target,)
- Water Bottle (Owala, Simply Modern, Stanley, Hydroflask)
- Phone Charger
- Jellycats
Again, these are just a few broad ideas, but hopefully they will help spark ideas of what to include on your wishlist!
