Ava Reynolds, Paschal class of 2023, was injured in a car accident November 19th on her way home from the University of Colorado at Boulder for Thanksgiving break. The accident occurred in Amarillo, and resulted in Ava and her friend, Cole Matsud, being admitted to a local hospital with serious injuries.
As Reynolds’ family and friends rushed to her bedside in Amarillo, a hospital Chaplin came in to offer his help and comfort.
According to Reynolds’ father, Stoney Reynolds, it did not take long for the Chaplin to realize that Reynolds is a graduate of Paschal High School. The Chaplin, Jeff Pugh, is a 1994 Paschal Graduate.

Reynolds, who was president of her senior class, has now been safely flown to a Fort Worth hospital for further treatment, while Matsud is recovering from knee and leg surgery. A GoFundMe account has been established to help with the Reynolds’ family expenses.
