On his story, Bryan addresses the breakup by claiming that he thinks it would be “beneficial” for the both of them to “go their own ways.” He mentions that he still respects and loves her, and asks his followers to respect LaPaglia’s privacy. He ominously ends the paragraph by saying, “I try my best with everything. I failed people that love me and mostly myself.”
After the breakup, LaPaglia posted a video of her telling her side of the story. In the video, she explained how she had no idea that Bryan was going to post publicly about their breakup. When the story was posted, she woke up with many people asking her if she was okay, and she was confused on why they were asking her that because she didn’t know what it was about at the time. She felt blindsided. In her video, she says, “How can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and then be discarded of in a few days.”
The breakup was really hard on LaPaglia and she experienced many rough days. She wanted to heal privately and she didn’t want Bryan to expose their breakup to the public without her knowing. She claims that she will be ready to talk about everything after time goes by and things cool off.
Some Paschal students have had breakup stories of their own. The Pantherette collected some responses from PHS students and recorded them below.
A student says, “It was my last relationship, we dated for about 4 months. We met through some friends and really hit it off and hung out the next day after meeting each other. He was great till about a week before my birthday he started acting weird, secretive yk. He broke up with me on my birthday out of nowhere and I found out 30 minutes later he was also cheating on me. Amazing!”
Another student claims, “Broke up with the guy, he actually ended up stalking me for a few months, had an online diary about me, when he found out I was going to homecoming with a guy he stopped by my house homecoming day and I luckily wasn’t home. Definitely a scary experience.”
Another attests, “I dated a guy a little older than me and it turns out he cheated on me with 2 girls the week of my birthday and then broke up with me on my birthday. He still Venmos me money trying to talk to me.”
And lastly, a student shares, “So basically me and this girl dated for almost a full year and we had the best bond ever, we really loved each other but then one day she decided to call it quits on us and then an hour later she got with her guy bsf and a whole story about, turns out she was cheating on him with me.”
As far as breakups go, these ones are pretty rough. Leave a comment and share what you think is the best way to cope or get over someone after a breakup!
