The Panther Cross Country teams have outdone themselves this season, with both the boys’ and girls’ squads putting in great performances at the 5A Varsity District meet. Training hard with early morning practices, the dedication has certainly paid off as they returned home with impressive standings.
In a major victory, the Lady Panthers claimed first place overall, securing the top team position in the district. Leading the race was Madison Ledbetter, who not only placed first among the Varsity girls but also achieved her personal record with a remarkable time of 19:15. Congratulations to Madison for her outstanding performance and becoming a true inspiration for her teammates!
Meanwhile, the boys’ team also gave a strong showing, coming in second place overall, finishing just behind Arlington Heights High School. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams placed three runners in the top 10, highlighting the amount of talent that the team holds.
Congratulations to our Panthers on a successful season of hard work and dedication! They’ve made Paschal High School proud with their determination and effort which they have put in this season. We look forward to seeing what they achieve next year!
