Each day of the week will feature a different theme, encouraging everyone to participate and make a statement against drugs.
Here’s a look at the daily lineup:
Monday: Adam Sandler Day – “Drugs Aren’t Rad, So Dress Like a Dad”
On Monday, embrace the comfort of Adam Sandler by dressing in your longest pair of shorts, an oversized T-shirt, and tall socks. Let’s kick off the week by showing that living drug-free is cool, just like Sandler’s dad fits.
Tuesday: Despicable Me Day – “Drugs Are Despicable”
Dress as a character from Despicable Me to spread the message that drugs are despicable. Choose Gru, the Minions, or another character and make Tuesday a fun reminder to stay away from drugs.
Wednesday: Mean Girls Day – “Drugs Stink, on Wednesdays, We Wear Pink!”
Join in on the Mean Girls theme by putting on your best pink attire because drugs are definitely not “fetch.”
Thursday: Halloween Costume Day – “Drugs Are Scary”
Drugs can be frightening, so dress up in your Halloween costume (no masks). Get creative with your costume and show that drugs are scary.
Friday: Space Jam Day – “Drugs Will Get You in a Jam”
For the final day, rock your favorite sports jersey and join the Paschal “team” against drugs. Inspired by the Space Jam movie, this day is all about teamwork and choosing the drug-free life together.
Red Ribbon Week is a fantastic opportunity for our school to unite, have fun, and promote healthy, drug-free lifestyles. We hope everyone joins in on the theme days!
