Are you a new voter in the state of Texas?  Here’s what you need to know about voter registration. November 4th, 2024 is election day and in order to vote you must be at least 18 by election day, a US citizen, have no felonies on your record, and have a valid photo ID.   

It’s easy to register, but time is running out.  To register you must submit some form of identification, meaning a birth certificate and/or a driver’s ID . If you cannot submit any form of identification you will be obligated to fill out an independent form which explains why you can’t present any of the items listed above.

Your application must be received by October 7th, 2024. Potential voters will also need to show a photo identification or driver’s license at the time of voting
