What Happened

The Paschal Panthers won their last game, and improved to 3-7 this season versus rival North Crowley, with a score of 36-14. Going into the second half the Panthers were down by a margin of two. A mixture of Paschal’s high powered running offense and stout defense allowed the Panthers to hold North Crowley to no points in the second half.

Key Moment

The biggest moment of the game came in the 4th quarter when Senior Eli Asbury caused a strip sack that was recovered by Senior Cooper Adams to seal the game for Paschal.

Quote

Senior Will Hanfeld said, “It’s a brotherhood. We’re all family no matter what.”

Senior Brooks McKibbin said, “Best game I’ve ever seen or been a part of at Paschal High School. Best group of guys I could have asked for and a great way to end the year.”

Senior Cole Peck said, “Last night’s game was one that all seniors hope they will never have to play, but to come out on top of a big team like North Crowley was such a great way to go out. The Senior class would like to thank everyone who came out to support last night. We would also like to thank our coaching staff for an amazing final season and a lot of great memories. Personally I will never forget Eli Asbury’s chase down sack that resulted in a forced fumble and changed the momentum of the game in our favor.”
