As the weather is cooling down and the leaves are falling, restaurants in Fort Worth are going the extra mile to make their patios more dog-friendly. Melt Ice Cream on Magnolia recently celebrated National Dog Day on August 26th by hosting a pet’s dream party. Melt has a patio with benches and tables, a great place to enjoy ice cream and being with your pet. In addition to their dog-friendly environment, they sold dog-friendly treats and set up a photo booth just for everyone’s furry friends.

Bella Reynolds, a junior at Paschal who works at Melt and attended the event, said, “My favorite part of the event was definitely getting to see all of the different dogs, like when the people would bring their service dogs (who are always allowed) into the store we all got super excited, or just watching the dogs eat the doggie ice cream! It was adorable.”

Another hot spot on Magnolia is Shaw’s Patio Bar & Grill. They are known for their lively atmosphere, amazing burgers and fun patio. There are water bowls and treats for dogs upon request.

After going on a stroll on the Trinity Trails, head on over to HG Sply in the West Bend development to enjoy a great meal on the dog-friendly patio. They have great food and quality service.

There is no more need to sweat figuring out where to take your dog on a night out. Enjoy the city of Fort Worth while spending time with your favorite furry friend.
