What Happened?

On Friday night the Boys Varsity Basketball team traveled to Arlington to face off in an al or nothing game. The Panthers had a game changing comeback when they were down by 8 with a minute and a half left in the fourth quarter. Senior Billy Hill hit a clutch three, followed by a technical foul on the opposing team’s coach leading to four straight free throws for Paschal. Hill and Senior Jack Simanek made all four free throws, giving Paschal a two point lead. Senior David Wamstad secured another free throw, extending the lead to three. The Panthers managed to stop Arlington with nine seconds left in the game to solidify the final score– 52 to 49. The Panthers must continue this winning streak against Bowie in order to get into the playoffs. Tuesday night is the last regular season game and is senior night for the Panthers. Make sure to come out in your white because it is going to be a white out in the GUS.
