Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) helps students prepare for careers in business through academic competitions (FBLA Competitive Events), leadership development, and educational programs. Recently, our two chapters, Alpha and Beta, competed at the Area 7 Leadership Conference in hopes of earning a place to the State Leadership Conference in Houston, TX.
For the first time ever, Paschal earned the sweepstakes award, beating schools such as Keller Central and Aledo High School for the school who had the most points earned at the Area 7 competition. 61 Paschal students qualified for state and will travel to Houston in March to compete.
We also had three students elected to serve as Area 7 FBLA officers for the 2019-2020 school year. Taylor Hahn was elected reporter/historian, Daniel Yu was elected Parliamentarian, and Lily Debenport was elected Vice President.
