What Happened?

The Panthers Boys Basketball team traveled to Sanger, to take place in a tournament that from November 29th to December 1st. The Basketball team won their first three games of the tournament to advance to the finals game. The Panthers fell a little short in the championship game, but managed to claim second place in the tournament.

Key Moment

A key moment of the tournament was when Jack Simanek dropped 22 points against Braswell in the pool play portion of the tournament. Jack stimulated the offense in the tournament and helped lead the team to the finals.

Senior Scott Wheeler said, “We had a solid run in the Sanger tournament, coming up just a little short in the championship game. The tournament was great for strengthening our game plan and a big confidence boost for us as a team. We’re ready to start district play with our next game on the 11th.”
